When I my first cartridge of adhesive ran out on my Glue Glider Pro I didn't know what to do with it. The friends I was scrapbooking with said I should just throw it out...but how could I do that? -I knew I could do stuff with the "parts"...so I held on to it.

The other day I decided to take it apart. There are lots of interesting parts inside! Immediately I have a few ideas of what I want to do with them..here's the first:

I decided I wanted to use one of the "cogs" to imprint
gesso on a canvas. First I had to cover the canvas with the gesso....I smoothed it out more after I took this photo.

Then I just held onto the center of the smaller green cog & stamped it around in the gesso. I'm really happy with the texture it created.
Now I'm just waiting for it to dry so I can add paint and other stuff. I'll share what I come up with when I'm finished.
